Delhi: Before the last match of the India vs Australia Test series, Australian captain Pat Cummins has announced his playing eleven in the press conference. Australia is leading 2-1 in the five-match Test series being played under the Border-Gavaskar Trophy. Before this decisive match, a major change has been made in the team.

Cummins announced playing-11

Pat Cummins told in the press conference that Beau Webster will make his debut in the Sydney Test. Veteran all-rounder Mitchell Marsh has been dropped from the playing-11 for this match. Beau Webster has been included in the team in place of Marsh, who is known for his excellent performance in domestic cricket.

He told that leading fast bowler Mitchell Starc is now fully fit and will play in the Sydney Test. Starc was struggling with a back problem during the Melbourne Test, but he bowled 16 overs in the second innings. Although, he got only one wicket in that match, but the team registered a big win by 184 runs and took the lead in the series.

Beau Webster’s home run record

The Australian captain said, “We have made a change in the team. Mitchell Marsh is out and Beau Webster will debut. Marsh did not take as many runs or wickets in the series as was expected. We felt it was the right time to give Beau a chance. He is in great form in domestic cricket.”
Beau Webster was the leading run-scorer in the Sheffield Shield last season. He had scored 938 runs. Apart from this, recently he took 6 wickets for 17 runs in a match against Western Australia.
