Delhi: Australian all-rounder Mitchell Marsh has explained how to face Jasprit Bumrah in the upcoming Brisbane Test. Bumrah is in excellent form at the moment and is the bowler taking the most wickets in this series. Marsh believes that there will be no benefit in playing just by watching Bumrah, but the best way is to challenge him and put pressure.

Best way to tackle Bumrah
Marsh said, “If you play just by watching Bumrah, he will definitely get some batsman out. The best way to tackle Bumrah is to focus on your batting technique and put pressure on him.”
Marsh is not out against Bumrah
So far in this series, Mitchell Marsh is the only batsman who has not been out against Bumrah. However, Marsh is not completely satisfied with his performance. He said, “Bumrah is the best bowler in the world at the moment, and playing him is a big challenge, but he welcomes the challenge.”
Marsh further said, “Every batsman has his own method against Bumrah and the strategy changes according to the circumstances. Sometimes you have to overcome a spell of Bumrah, and sometimes you have to attack him. He also made it clear that he will not compromise on his batting style, even if his score in the Gabba Test is low, as has happened in the last few Test matches.
We are fully prepared for Bumrah
Mitchell Marsh said that the approach he has adopted in the last 18 months has been successful, and he is all set with his strategy against Bumrah. Facing Bumrah in the Brisbane Test will be a challenging task, but Marsh believes that he can overcome it successfully.
