Delhi: India vs Australia third test is going on at Gabba, Brisbane. Amidst this important test match of Border-Gavaskar Trophy, the Board of Control for Cricket in India i.e. BCCI has taken a big decision. BCCI has released three players from the BGT squad. He will soon come to India and here again he will be seen playing in the Vijay Hazare Trophy. These three players are fast bowlers, who will not be needed even in the coming two matches, because currently two more fast bowlers are sitting on the bench. This is the reason why Mukesh Kumar, Yash Dayal and Navdeep Saini have been released from the squad.

These three players released from Border-Gavaskar Trophy squad
Mukesh Kumar, Yash Dayal and Navdeep Saini did not get a chance in the first three matches of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy. He doesn’t get a chance even in the coming two matches. In such a situation, keeping in mind his fitness and form, he was released from the team. Mukesh Kumar’s name has also appeared in Bengal’s Vijay Hazare Trophy team. According to the report of Times of India, it has come to light that these three fast bowlers have been released from the team. Despite his return to India, there will be five proper pacers in the Indian team. These will include Jasprit Bumrah, Mohammad Siraj, Akash Deep, Harshit Rana and Prasidh Krishna.
Two more players may be released
Abhimanyu Easwan and Devdutt Padikkal can also be released from the team further, because Rohit Sharma has returned as opener. KL Rahul has opened and thus India has three opening options including Yashasvi Jaiswal. Sarfaraz Khan is available for middle order. This is the reason why backup openers Abhimanyu Easwaran and Devdutt Padikkal can also be released from the BGT squad. Vijay Hazare ODI tournament is starting from 21st December. The fourth test match will be played at the end of the year. They can be released before this.
