Delhi: The warm-up match being played between India and Prime Minister XI got canceled due to rain on the first day of the match. Due to heavy rain the toss could not even take place on the first day. However, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has confirmed that both the teams will play a 50-50 over match on the second day.

Issuing an update on its official X account, BCCI said that the second day’s play will start at 9:10 am on Sunday, while the toss will take place at 8:40 am. BCCI has also confirmed that both the teams have agreed to play 50 overs for each side.
The day-night test between India and Australia will be played in Adelaide from 6th December. This warm-up match is very important for India for the preparations for the upcoming test.
