Delhi: The third day of the third Test of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy at Gabba in Brisbane was very bad for the Indian team. On this rain-interrupted day, Australia’s fast bowlers bowled out the Indian top order for just 44 runs. Indian batsmen could not survive in difficult conditions, due to which “frustration” was clearly visible in the dressing room.

Gautam Gambhir was seen doing shadow practice
Team coach Gautam Gambhir was seen doing “shadow practice” in the dressing room. He was practicing releasing balls going outside the off stump. Fans on social media believed that this could be a reference to Virat Kohli, who was dismissed four times on balls outside the off stump in this series.
He is telling kohli how to leave the balls.

How was Kohli’s performance?
After his poor form in the home series against New Zealand, this Border-Gavaskar Trophy might be Virat Kohli’s last. However, he silenced his critics by scoring a century in the Perth Test and returned to the top 20 in the ICC Test rankings. But, Kohli’s performance again declined in Adelaide, where he scored 7 and 11 runs in both the innings. He was constantly troubled by balls outside the off stump.
Overall, Kohli has scored only 126 runs so far in this series. This is his second worst performance against Australia. In the 2016-17 home series, he scored only 46 runs in five innings.
