Delhi: The third test match of Border Gavaskar Trophy between India and Australia is going to start from December 14 at Gabba. It is necessary for India to win this match to maintain its hopes of reaching the final of the World Test Championship. If India loses in Gabba, their WTC equation may worsen further. In this match, captain Rohit Sharma and coach Gautam Gambhir may have to face challenges related to team selection. Especially, the question is whether Rohit Sharma will open again after the flop performance in Adelaide, or Yashasvi Jaiswal will open with KL Rahul.

Indian batsmen will have to score 350 runs
Former Indian team selector Saba Karim has given some suggestions to Rohit Sharma and his team to win the Gabba Test. He believes that Rohit Sharma should return to opening, while KL Rahul should bat at number 6. He also said that the team will have to bat well in the first innings and score at least 340-350 runs, only then they can take the match forward.
Rohit should open
Saba Karim said, “Rohit Sharma should have opened in the first Test, so now he should open. The main reason for our defeat was that we did not bat well in the first innings.”
Rahul should bat at number 5 or 6
About KL Rahul, he said, “He has been playing the role of floater in the team for the last few years, so he is fully prepared to bat at number 5 or 6.”
Bringing Jadeja into the team will provide strength
Regarding Jadeja, Saba Karim said, “I am surprised that no one talked about Jadeja. If the team wants to strengthen its batting, then he can be a great option to bat at number seven. He is an accurate and disciplined left-arm spinner, who can play the role of blocking one end. This will give Rohit a chance to rotate the fast bowlers from the other end. I see him in the team in place of R Ashwin.”
