Delhi: The fourth test match between the Indian cricket team and Australia is being played in Melbourne. After winning the toss and batting first, the Australian team scored 474 runs. In reply, the start of the Indian team was not special as the team lost the wicket of its captain in the very second over. There was a partnership of 43 runs between KL Rahul and Jaiswal but then the Australian captain sent Rahul to the pavilion for 24 runs. Virat and Jaiswal together handled the innings and made a partnership of 102 runs. At one time it seemed that Team India would give an equal challenge to Australia but the team lost 3 wickets within just 6 runs.

Nitish Kumar Reddy is batting amazingly in this series but he was getting out after playing innings of 40 to 42 runs continuously. In Melbourne, when Team India needed it the most, he played a memorable century which not only helped the team but also made a complete comeback for the team in the match. This century of Reddy will give a lot of hope to the team due to which the Indian team can also look towards winning the match.

Reddy’s brilliant innings

Nitish Kumar Reddy played a century against Australia in which he left the first few balls but when he settled down, he hit fours and sixes one after the other. Reddy hit 10 fours and one six in this innings.

Sundar and Reddy’s counter attack

While at one time Team India was lagging behind in the match, Sundar and Nitish Kumar Reddy took care of the missing thread of India and together they made a partnership of 127 runs for the team. At one time the team had lost 7 wickets for 221 runs, but together these two not only saved the team but also played a brilliant innings against Australia. Sundar also made an important contribution by scoring 50 runs.
