Delhi: Australia has announced its 15-member squad for the remaining two Test matches of the ongoing Border-Gavaskar Trophy against India. Opener Nathan McSweeney, who scored only 72 runs in the first three Tests, has been dropped from the team. At the same time, 19-year-old Sam Constas, who scored a century in the pink ball practice match in Canberra, has been included in the Test team for the first time.

Bailey said, “This series has been challenging for our top order batsmen. “We want to give the option of a different combination for the next two matches.” Sam Constas has been included in the team due to the top order not performing as per expectations.
On the absence of Josh Hazlewood, he said, “We have Jhay Richardson a good option for fast bowling. “His comeback at the beginning of the domestic season has been fantastic.”
The Gabba Test was drawn due to rain, with only the second day’s play taking place without any interruption. This five-match series is currently tied at 1-1. India won the first Test in Perth, while Australia won the second Test in Adelaide.
