Tim Penn will be seen in a new role
Penn was working in the media after retiring from cricket in 2023 and Australia also played the role of assistant coach along with the women’s team and A program. Now he will leave his radio show and focus on the new responsibility.
Penn said on Sen Radio that he wants to give full time to the coaching career. According to him, there are many young players in Australia A program with whom he likes to work with.
Tim Paine is currently associated with Big Bash League team Adelaide Strikers as a coach. However, he will soon join Australia A team. This series of ODIs and four -day matches against Sri Lanka A will start from July 4. First ODIs will be played, then there will be a four -day series. After this, the team will visit India, where Tim Paine will be seen working as a coach with the team.
Recall that Penn took Australia’s Test captaincy after the 2018 ball tampering case and got the Ashes Rit in England in 2019. However, he left the captaincy due to a personal message dispute before the 2021‑22 Ashes.
