Delhi: Marcus Stoinis, a member of the World Cup winning team, has announced to retire from ODI with immediate effect, taking a shocking decision, although he will be available to the national team in T20 international format.

Stoinis was included in the initial 15 -member team of Australia for the ICC Champions Trophy to be held in Pakistan and UAE later this month, but will be replaced in the selection in the final team till February 12. The 35 -year -old all -rounder was currently playing for Durban Super Giants in South Africa’s T20 franchise competition, where he was recently hurt while bowling.
