Delhi: The Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 began with a win over Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) on Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR). The world’s best foreign players are participating in this league. Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) have two aggressive batsmen, Australia’s Travis Head and Heinrich Klassen of South Africa. Head is performing brilliantly for Australia in international cricket, while Klassen is playing an important role in winning the match for South Africa in white ball cricket.
Former Australian captain Michael Clarke believes that the best foreign batsman of IPL 2025 is Heinrich Klassen. SRH retained him for Rs 23 crore before the mega auction.
Clarke said on Star Sports, “Henrik Klassen is the best foreign batsman for me this season. His power is amazing, and he regularly puts a boundary boundary.”
He further said, “He can hit big sixes in the middle overs and add energy in the team’s batting order. It is not as easy as Klassen makes it.”
Significantly, Sunrisers Hyderabad had traveled to the finals in the last season, but in the title match they had to face defeat to Kolkata Knight Riders. However, Heinrich Klassen had performed brilliantly for the team, due to which the SRH management decided to keep him in the team for the next three years.
