Avesh Khan shone as ‘Player of the Day’ with his brilliant bowling for Lucknow in Jaipur.

The 36th match of IPL 2025 was played between Rajasthan Royals and Lucknow Super Giants at Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur. Batting first after winning the toss in this match, Lucknow scored 180 runs. Eden Markram (66) and Ayush Badoni (50) played a brilliant half -century innings.

Rajasthan Royals had a good start in the run chase. The team scored 61 runs in the powerplay without losing any wickets. But then in the death overs, the team’s batting order came under pressure and could only score 178 runs losing 5 wickets in 20 overs.

Lucknow has reached fourth place in the points table with 5 wickets win. Fast bowler Avesh Khan was the hero of Lucknow’s victory, who took three wickets. Avesh also won the title of Player of the Match.

Avesh Khan throws a great spell against Rajasthan Royals

Against Rajasthan Royals, Avesh Khan took three wickets for 37 runs in 4 overs. He took wickets of players like Yashasvi Jaiswal (74), Ryan Parag (39) and Shimran Hetmyer (12). Lucknow captain Rishabh Pant had entrusted Avesh Khan to defend 9 runs in the last over, which was well done by the bowler. He bowled a dot ball at the last side, took a wicket and conceded just 6 runs. Let me tell you, Avesh had turned the game in the 18th over. After winning the Player of the Match title, Avesh Khan said while talking on the post match presentation, saying,
