Delhi: The 28th match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 is being played between Rajasthan Royals (RR) and Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB). In this match, the toss was won by Royal Challengers Bangalore and decided to bowl first. This match is being held at Sawai Mansingh Stadium, Jaipur, the domestic ground in Rajasthan.
Trying to convert the beginning into a big innings
Rajasthan’s young batsman Ryan Parag said before the commencement of the match that his focus in this season is on converting a good start into a big innings. He told that last year everything was good together and this year too, they are trying to repeat the same. Ryan said, “I started this season at number 3 but now I am playing again at number 4 for the last three matches, which is my favorite place.”
Ryan is happy with batting position
Parag further said that he likes to bat at number 4 and he feels comfortable on this position. He said, “I am back to my Happy Place. Now just want to contribute more with the bat and see what happens next.”
One has to work hard on home pitch
Talking about the pitch of Jaipur, Ryan said that it is slightly different from other places. He said, “The bounce here is a little less and has to work hard to score runs. Many times we have to run two runs instead of the boundary and then there is a time when big shots come out easily. We have done a lot of practice here, so that we have understood the pitch well.”
Need to keep simple approach
Regarding the team’s strategy, Ryan said that the team of Rajasthan Royals is keeping things simple. He said, “We had won two matches before the defeat against GT and the team was doing well. It is common to have a defeat. The team management has full support and we have been given freedom to play openly.”
Dream of playing for india
Ryan also shared his feelings about playing for India. He said, “This is a very special experience. I was dreaming of it since childhood. You can see my happiness in my face smile. Now just want to perform well in this IPL season so that soon I will get a chance to play for India soon.”
