Delhi: Indian Premier League (IPL) After 2025, Team India has to visit England, where they will play a Test series of 5 matches. Prior to this important series, there has been a big change in Team India’s coaching staff, which includes the return of an old coach. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has taken this big decision before the tour of England.
Fielding coach returns
According to a report by Indian Express, former India fielding coach T Dilip has again joined the team. He will go with the team as a fielding coach for the England Test series.
The report quoted a source as saying, “T Dileep has been again appointed for a year and will be with Team India for the tour of England. His contract is currently one year old.” The report also stated that BCCI was looking for foreign fielding coaches, but no appropriate candidate could be found, so T Dileep was called back. It is also worth noting that T Dileep was dismissed after the team’s poor performance in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2024-25.
Gautam Gambhir will be the head coach of Team India on the England tour. T Dilip will take over the responsibility of fielding coach. Apart from this, Sitanshu Kotak will be with the team as a batsman coach, Morne Morkel bowling coach and Ryan Ten Doshet Assistant Coach.
