Delhi: A big news has come out about the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025. The Board of Control of India (BCCI) has asked all franchise owners, players, support staff and even commentators to be vigilant. According to the report of Cricbuzz, some people are trying to woo the players and the teams associated with the team for wrong things.

The BCCI’s anti -corruption security unit (ACSU) says that a businessman, who hails from Hyderabad, may be involved in such activities. He has also had a relationship with bookies before. ACSU suspects that he can try to make players, coaches and others on his side by giving expensive gifts and jewelery during the IPL.

ACSU has already informed all the teams and people associated with this. If someone makes any such offer or suspicious person contact, then immediately it has been asked to inform the authorities.

Family of players also targeted

The special thing is that these businessmen have also been seen in some matches and team hotels. He tries to befriend the players by calling himself a fan. According to the report, he also gives gifts to the players and his family members and tries to call them to private parties.

Not only this, he is also trying to contact some players and coaches living abroad through social media.

BCCI has clearly stated that such activities will not be ignored at all and strict action will be taken against whoever is found involved in it.
