Delhi: The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has taken a big step for the tour of England. The BCCI has appointed the Uttar Pradesh Cricket Association (UPCA) veteran Administrator Yudhveer Singh as the manager of the Indian cricket team. Board sources gave this information.

Yudhveer Singh is a lifetime member of UPCA and has served in many important positions. His name is very well known in Uttar Pradesh cricket. He has held important responsibilities in the state cricket administration for years. In view of his experience and great management ability, BCCI has made him the manager of the team for the tour of England. This is also a pride for Uttar Pradesh cricket. Yudhveer Singh has also been the secretary and director of the state association before this.
There will be a 5 -match Test series
The Indian cricket team will play a 5 Test series against England on this tour. The first match will be held from June 20 at the historic ground of Leeds. This series is considered special because there have been many changes in the Test team. Shubman Gill has been made captain after retiring from Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli’s Test, while Rishabh Pant will be the vice -captain. At the same time, after 8 years, Karun Nair has returned to the Test team.
