Delhi: Pakistan will host the ICC Champions Trophy 2025, which will start from February 19. Before this, there has been a major change in the coaching staff of Pakistan cricket team. According to media reports, Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has appointed former spinner Abdur Rehman as the new spin bowling coach of the team. Abdur will coach Pakistan’s spin bowlers during the tournament.

Let us tell you that Abdur Rehman took 99 wickets in 22 test matches while playing for Pakistan from 2007 to 2014. Apart from this, he has 30 wickets in 31 ODIs and 11 wickets in 8 T20Is.

Recently Pakistan’s white ball head coach Gary Kirsten had resigned. Kirsten’s tenure, which led India to win the ICC World Cup in 2011, lasted only for 6 months. After him, Test team head coach Jason Gillespie also resigned due to disputes with PCB and team management.
