Delhi: Indian all -rounder Nitish Kumar Reddy has proved his fitness before the IPL (IPL 2025). He is now fully prepared after recovering from injury and is going to join his team Sunrisers Hyderabad. Actually, Nitish had a side strain problem, due to which he had not been able to play any match since January.

According to PTI report, he has now passed all fitness tests including the Yo-Yo test in the BCCI’s ‘Center of Excellence’. After the approval of the physio, he is now fully prepared to return to the field. This means that he will be seen playing for Sunrisers Hyderabad in IPL 2025.

No match played since January

Nitish played his previous match against England at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata on 22 January. However, he did not get a chance to bat or bowl in that match. After this, during the practice before the second T20 match in Chennai, he had a problem of side strain, due to which he was out of the entire five -match series.

Great performance in IPL

Sunrisers Hyderabad retained Nitish for Rs 6 crore before the auction. He scored 303 runs in 13 matches in IPL 2024 at a strike rate of 143. Apart from this, he also performed brilliantly on the tour of Australia and scored an adventure of 114 runs in the fourth Test of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy played in Melbourne.
