Delhi: The controversy regarding ICC Champions Trophy 2025 is not showing any signs of stopping. There is very little time left for the start of the tournament, but due to differences between India and Pakistan, the concerns of the International Cricket Council (ICC) have increased. India has made it clear that it is not ready to play in Pakistan, while the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is adamant on its demand that all the matches of the tournament be played only in Pakistan. PCB says that being the host of the tournament, their rights should be respected.
ICC has called an important meeting to resolve this dispute. In the meeting, an attempt will be made to convince Pakistan that the hybrid model is the most suitable option in this situation. If PCB does not agree to this, then the tournament can be shifted to UAE or South Africa. A major decision is expected to be taken in this matter after the ICC meeting.
It is noteworthy that important news can come out today regarding the organization of ICC Champions Trophy 2025 between India and Pakistan.
