“Mayank Yadav has got recognition only because of his pace. There are some other bowlers like him, who consistently bowl at a speed of 145-150. I believe that young fast bowlers are emerging from India, sometimes they are right in thinking that they should bowl only at fast pace. He thinks, ‘If I get an IPL contract, I will be satisfied.’
“As soon as he gets an IPL contract, everything else becomes nonsense for him. He doesn’t learn how to play in the longer format. They have absolutely no idea of playing with tolerance and patience. They have not been prepared for this work.”
