Delhi: In the 43rd match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025, Chennai Super Kings (CSK) are facing Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) at MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai. Five -time champion team CSK has descended with the intention of returning to the victory on their home ground and staying in the playoff race.

One of the biggest problems of Chennai in this season has been a lack of power hits. To meet this deficiency, the team instead of the injured bowler Gurjpreet Singh included South Africa’s young aggressive all -rounder Dewald Bravis in the team.

Brevis had joined the team in the last match, which was against Mumbai Indians (Mi). Brevis has previously played for MI. Although he did not get a place in the playing XI in that match, but during the toss against SRH, captain MS Dhoni announced that Brevis would debut for his team today. Along with this, he has joined the list of select players who have represented both CSK and Mi teams in the IPL.

Brevis has been included in the team in place of Rachin Ravindra of New Zealand, which has failed to give the team a good start in the last few matches.
