Delhi: India’s fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah, South Africa’s Marco Jensen and Pakistan’s Haris Rauf have been nominated for the ICC Men’s Player of the Month award for November 2024. These three players are in the news because of their excellent performance.

Bumrah’s performance
Jasprit Bumrah played a key role in India’s massive 295-run win against Australia in the first Test of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy played in Perth. Bumrah took a total of eight wickets in the match and also captained the team in the absence of Rohit Sharma. Due to his brilliant bowling, India took a lead of 46 runs in the first innings. The fast bowler took 5 wickets (5/30) in the first innings and 3 wickets (3/42) in the second innings. With his performance, India’s hopes of reaching the World Test Championship final remain intact.
Marco Jensen’s magic
Marco Jensen of South Africa performed brilliantly in T20 and Test cricket. He played a brilliant inning of 54 runs in just 17 balls, although it was not enough to save his team from defeat in Centurion. He made a brilliant comeback in Test cricket and took 11 wickets in the match against Sri Lanka. He gave his best performance by taking 7 wickets (7/13) in the first innings, which increased South Africa’s chances of reaching the World Test Championship final.
Haris Rauf’s great form
Haris Rauf played six ODIs and three T20 matches for Pakistan in November and took a total of 18 wickets. During the Australia tour, he took three wickets in Melbourne and helped level the series by taking five wickets in the next match. He took two more wickets in the deciding match and helped Pakistan win the series 2–1. He also performed brilliantly in the T20 series, taking four wickets in the second match. He also took three wickets in the ODI series against Zimbabwe.
This performance of all three players was worth watching for cricket lovers, and now it will be interesting to see who gets the title of ICC Men’s Player of the Month.
