Delhi: Four semi -finalist teams of Champions Trophy 2025 have been elected. India will face Australia in the first semi -finals to be held on March 4. AB de Villiers predicts
Former cricketer AB de Villiers has predicted that India will defeat Australia in the first semi -finals and South Africa will beat New Zealand in the second semi -finals. After this, the final will be played between India and South Africa on 9 March. De Villiers described the match as the final of the T20 World Cup 2024, in which India won the trophy by defeating South Africa.
India and South Africa invincible
In the Champions Trophy 2025, both India and South Africa have been invincible so far. India won their three group matches, while South Africa won two matches and one match was canceled due to rain. AB de Villiers believes that the Champions Trophy final will once again be between India and South Africa, as in the recent ICC tournaments.

According to de Villiers, South Africa will get a lot of confidence after winning against England. He said, “It is always exciting to see the finals of India and South Africa. However, teams like New Zealand and Australia also cannot be ignored, as Australia is always strong in the ICC Trophy. ”
Historical challenge of South Africa
De Villiers also reminded that South Africa had traveled to the final only once in the Champions Trophy 1998. Now, it will be interesting to see if they can register a new historic victory against India.
