Delhi: India will play its 2025 Champions Trophy matches in UAE. This decision was taken after a meeting in Pakistan between Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Mohsin Naqvi and Senior UAE Minister Sheikh Nahyan Al Mubarak. In this meeting with Sheikh Nahyan, who is also the head of the Emirates Cricket Board, it was decided that the match between India and Pakistan would be held on 23 February.

India will play the first match on 20th February
Apart from Pakistan, Bangladesh and New Zealand are also included in India’s group. India will face Bangladesh on February 20 and New Zealand on March 2, and all these matches are likely to be held in Dubai.
Pakistan’s first match on 19 February
The first match of Pakistan, the current winner of the Champions Trophy, will be against New Zealand in Karachi on 19 February. Pakistan’s last league match against Bangladesh will be held on 27 February in Rawalpindi. The second group has teams from Afghanistan, Australia, England and South Africa. All these matches will be played in Lahore, Karachi and Rawalpindi.
Reserve day for final
A reserve day has also been kept for the final of the Champions Trophy. The semi-finals will be held on March 4 and 5, one of which will be a reserve day. The final will be played in Lahore on March 9, but if India reaches the final, a provision has been made to hold it in UAE.
India-Pak matches in hybrid model by 2026
Under this hybrid model, Pakistan’s matches in all ICC events hosted by India will be played at neutral venues. This agreement will be applicable starting from the Champions Trophy, till 2025 Women’s ODI World Cup and 2026 Men’s T20 World Cup.
