Delhi: The second semi-final of the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 was played between South Africa and New Zealand at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore, in which the Kiwi team won by 5-runs and made it to the finals. Now they will compete against India in Dubai on March 9.
New Zealand captain Mitchell Santner won the toss and decided to bat first. The Kiwi team scored 362 runs losing 5 wickets in 50 overs. Rachin Ravindra (108) and Kane Williamson (102) scored a brilliant century, while Glenn Philips scored 49 runs in 27 balls.
In bowling, Lungi Angidi took 3 wickets for South Africa and Kagiso Rabada took 2 wickets. In response, David Miller of South Africa also scored a brilliant century, but his innings could not win the team.
