Delhi: Sara Tendulkar, daughter of the Indian team’s great batsman Sachin Tendulkar, has now started her new journey in the sports world. Sara has started playing a new role by becoming the owner of the Mumbai franchise in the Global E-Cricket Premier League (GEPL), making his step in the E-Cricket Ecosystem. Along with this, she is also actively associated with Sachin Tendulkar Foundation.

In a GEPL program held in Bengaluru, Sara took part in a special public dialogue with Rajan Navani, founder and CEO of Jetsynthesysys. On this occasion, he spoke openly about his association with cricket, the changing nature of the game and his inspirations in the digital age.

Sara said, “Cricket in our house is not just a game, it is a feeling that has been associated with all of us. Perhaps it is a part of my DNA. I grew up in the atmosphere of cricket and I have seen how this game threads people in one thread.”

Regarding becoming the owner of the Mumbai franchise, Sara said, “Mumbai is my birthplace and my house too. It is a matter of pride for me to represent this city. League like GePl is not only the hallmark of a new format, but it is also a medium to bring cricket closer to today’s younger generation.”

Speaking on the possibilities of E-cricket, he said, “This game is fast, interactive and technically advanced. Just like today’s world. This can not only play a player, but also as a content creator or audience. The same thing inspires me the most.”

Sara also gave an inspiring message for young women on this occasion. He said, “Do what you like, do what you like, do not be afraid to speak. Don’t be afraid to take a risk, and if you fail, do not stop. The real power is hidden in trying.”
