Delhi: Cricket South Africa (CSA) announced a domestic international schedule for its male and female teams on 20 March. In the upcoming session, the South African men’s team will not play Test matches against any team, but will focus on limited overs cricket. At the same time, the women’s team will also play ODI and T20 series.
Emphasis on preparations for T20 World Cup 2026
The ICC T20 World Cup is to be played in the year 2026 under the joint host of India and Sri Lanka. Keeping this big tournament in mind, Cricket South Africa has set a limited overs series for both men and women teams.
The men’s team will play a 5 -match T20 series against the West Indies at the home ground, while the women’s team will play T20 and ODI against Ireland and Pakistan.
