CSK Vs Mi: Rachin Ravindra’s explosive knock in IPL 2025

The third match of IPL 2025 was played today i.e. 23 March between Chennai Super Kings and Mumbai Indians in Chennai. Where Ruturaj & Company won by four wickets. In the match, the first CSK bowlers stopped Mumbai Indians batsmen at a score of just 155 runs. After this, the target was achieved by losing 6 wickets in 19.1 overs.

Rachin Ravindra’s match winning innings

Rachin Ravindra played a brilliant innings for Chennai Super Kings to chase the target. He stayed till the end and scored a winning run for the team. After losing the initial wickets as Rahul Tripathi (2), Chennai returned to the partnership of captain Rituraj Gaikwad and Rachin.

Gaikwad batted excellently before being dismissed played a valuable innings of 53 runs, including 6 fours and three sixes. But after Gaikwad, CSK lost consecutive wickets as Shivam Dubey (9), Deepak Hooda (3) and Sam Karan (4).

But Rachin remained frozen from one end and he played a strong innings of 65* runs while batting heavily. His innings easily achieved the difficult target. Young spinner Vignesh Puthur was greatly impressed by Mumbai Indians and took three wickets for 32 runs in four overs. Deepak Chahar and Will Jax took one wicket each.

Mumbai Indians scored 155 runs

Earlier, batting first after losing the toss, Mumbai Indians scored 155 runs losing 9 wickets in 20 overs. The team did not have a good start and Rohit Sharma was dismissed without opening an account. After this, Ricelton and Will Jax were also dismissed cheaply. However, captain Suryakumar Yadav and Tilak Verma formed important partnerships. Suryakumar scored 29 runs, while Tilak Verma contributed 31 runs.

In the end, Deepak Chahar also added important runs and played a stormy innings of 28* runs. Naman Dhir scored 17 runs.

For CSK, spinner Noor Ahmed was the most successful bowler and took four wickets for 18 runs in four overs. Apart from this, Khalil Ahmed took three wickets for 29 runs in four overs while Ravichandran Ashwin and Nathan Ellis got 1-1 wickets.
