Delhi: Former West Indies cricket team all-rounder Dwayne Bravo has been appointed as the mentor of Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) for the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025. He will replace Gautam Gambhir on this post, who left the post of mentor after becoming the head coach of the Indian cricket team. Bravo has recently announced his retirement from all forms of cricket.

KKR CEO Venky Mysore said on Bravo’s appointment, “It is very exciting to have Dwayne Bravo join our team. “He always has a deep desire to win and his experience and knowledge will be extremely beneficial to our franchise and players.”
He further added, “Also, Bravo will also be associated with KKR’s other franchises – CPL, Major League Cricket, and International League T20.”
