The fourth match of IPL 2025 is to be played today i.e. on 24 March between Delhi Capitals and Lucknow Super Giants in Visakhapatnam. However, a big news is coming out from the Delhi Capitals Camp before this match. Veteran batsman of the Indian team KL Rahul will miss the match against Lucknow Super Giants due to personal reason.

Actually KL Rahul is going to be a father for the first time and Delhi Capitals Management has also given him special permission. KL Rahul has left for his house on Sunday night. He came to know that his wife Athiya Shetty could become a mother at any time. This is the reason why Indian players will not be seen playing in the match against Lucknow Super Giants. However, Rahul may join the Delhi team for the match against Sunrisers Hyderabad on 30 March.

A friend of a family of KL Rahul said, ‘He has reached his house to support his wife and can become a father at any time. However, it is fully available for the next match.

Let me tell you, KL Rahul was with the Lucknow Super Giants team in the last three IPL season. Not only this, he captained the Lucknow team in the last three seasons.
