Chasing the target of 163 runs, the Indian team won in the 29th over. The match ended with Richa Ghosh hitting a six off Afi Fletcher.
Deepti Sharma took 6 wickets for 31 runs in the first bowling. After this, he performed brilliantly in batting and scored 39 unbeaten runs. He hit 3 fours and 1 six in 48 balls. Richa scored a brisk 23 runs in 11 balls, which included 3 sixes and 1 four.

West Indies got success when Hayley Mathews dismissed Pratika Raval for 18 runs in the 10th over.
Harmanpreet continued her innings and scored 32 runs in 22 balls. India’s biggest partnership was between Jemimah Rodrigues and Deepti Sharma. Both added 56 runs for the fifth wicket. This partnership was broken by Karishma Ramharak in the 25th over by dismissing Jemimah for 29 runs.
For West Indies, Deandra Dottin, Aliya Allin, Hayley Mathews, Afi Fletcher and Karishma Ramharak took one wicket each.
Women’s World Cup will be held in India
This match was the last match of the third edition of the ICC Women’s Championship (2022-25). It is a One Day International (ODI) cricket competition contested by ten teams to determine qualification for the 2025 Women’s Cricket World Cup. The top five teams, along with hosts India, will qualify directly for the World Cup. The tournament will be held in August-September.
