Rahane completed 500 fours in IPL

Rahane hit 5 fours in this match and now he has a total of 502 fours in 193 matches. He tried to handle the team on his own on behalf of KKR. While the rest of the batsmen could not play a big innings, Rahane stayed at one end and continued to score runs.

He brought the loose balls of Gujarat Titans to the boundary well and kept the team’s hopes alive. However, they could not meet more than the other end. Finally, Washington Sundar dodged him in the 13th over. Sundar understood Rahane’s move to move forward and bowled fast outside the off stump. Rahane missed and wicketkeeper Jose Butler stumped him.

After Rahane was dismissed, Andre Russell and Rinku Singh tried to handle the team. Russell made some great shots, but could not last long in front of Rashid Khan. After this, Angkrish Raghuvanshi, who came as an impact player, also hit two fours, but could not save the team from defeat.

The Gujarat Titans finally defeated the score of 199 runs and defeated KKR by 39 runs to register a strong win.
