Delhi: Team India’s legendary all-rounder Ravichandran Ashwin recently surprised everyone by saying goodbye to international cricket. Now he has selected his all-time best playing eleven of the Indian Premier League (IPL). He has handed over the command of this team to the great captain of the Indian cricket team and legendary wicketkeeper batsman Mahendra Singh Dhoni.

Ashwin has chosen current Test and ODI captain Rohit Sharma and great batsman Virat Kohli as opening batsmen. Both the players have performed brilliantly in the IPL and have also captained this prestigious league for a long time.
Ashwin has included AB de Villiers (South Africa), Rashid Khan (Afghanistan), Sunil Narine (West Indies), and Lasith Malinga (Sri Lanka) in his team. However, the former off-spinner has not given place to veteran players like Chris Gayle, Andre Russell, and Shane Watson.
In the bowling department, Ashwin has selected Indian fast bowlers Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Jasprit Bumrah along with Lasith Malinga. These three players have made a special mark with their excellent bowling in the IPL.
