Delhi: The discussion among cricket fans has intensified regarding the Champions Trophy starting next month. Meanwhile, New Zealand’s young all-rounder Rachin Ravindra has given his opinion regarding the final of the tournament. He has named the two teams which according to him will play the title match. However, Indian fans may be a little disappointed due to India not being named in his prediction.

Rachin Ravindra told his favorite teams

Indian-origin New Zealand’s talented player Rachin Ravindra has described New Zealand and Australia as possible teams for the final of the Champions Trophy. Speaking to ICC, he said, “It is always difficult to predict the finalists because you want to see your team there. I hope that the New Zealand team will reach the final. We will play every match carefully. Also, it is very difficult to ignore a team like Australia. They are the current champions of the ODI World Cup and have performed strongly in all formats. I think there could be a clash between New Zealand and Australia in the final.”

Special relationship with CSK

Rachin Ravindra had kept his base price at Rs 50 lakh for the IPL 2024 auction and CSK included him in their team for Rs 1 crore 8 lakh. For IPL 2025, CSK used RTM to include him back in the team for Rs 4 crore.
