Delhi: India’s U19 wicketkeeper Harvansh Singh made the fans happy by showing a glimpse of MS Dhoni in an Asia Cup match. Harvansh’s agility and excellent wicketkeeping surprised the spectators and commentators during the match played against UAE at Sharjah Cricket Stadium on 4 December. Seeing his style, everyone was reminded of Dhoni’s famous ‘no-look run out’.

In the match, UAE team won the toss and decided to bat first. During his innings a moment came which caught everyone’s attention. A UAE batsman’s shot was stopped near the boundary and the fielders quickly threw the ball towards Harvansh. Harvansh caught the ball and threw the ball straight without looking towards the stumps. Although, the batsman had already reached the crease, but this effort of Harvansh reminded everyone of Dhoni.

Even the commentators could not help but praise this moment. One commentator said, “Look, doesn’t this have a taste of MSD? The way of catching the ball with the gloves and then throwing it towards the stumps.” While another said, “Blowing the stumps without looking is a great job.”
Harvansh Singh’s wicketkeeping showed how deep the talent is among the young players of Indian cricket. His performance was reminiscent of a legend like MS Dhoni, which touched the hearts of the fans.
