After the match between the two teams, the thing that is still making the most headlines is a debate between Abhishek Sharma and Digvesh Rathi on the field.

In fact, when Digvesh dismissed Abhishek Sharma in the 8th over of Hyderabad’s innings, he celebrated his trademark notebook. Along with this, he also indicated Abhishek to go out. Abhishek Sharma became angry with his act, after which there was a fierce debate between the two players. Returning to the pavilion, Abhishek gestured to hold the peak with his hand behind his head. It seemed as if he was threatening to kill Digvesh by holding the peak.

Meanwhile, now Digvesh Rathi has been punished by BCCI after the match. The bowler has been fined 50 percent of the match fee and suspended for a match.

Digvesh Rathi has got five demerit points so far

IPL shared official information and said,

“Lucknow Super Giants bowler Digvesh Rathi has been fined 50 percent of the match fee for violation of IPL Code of Conduct against Sunrisers Hyderabad at Ekana Cricket Stadium, Lucknow on Monday. It was his third level 1 offense under Orticle 2.5 in this season and hence they got two demerit points and therefore, they got two demerit points. He has five demerit points this season, so he is suspended for a match.

Abhishek Sharma was also fined

Abhishek Sharma violated the Ortical 2.6 of the IPL Code of Conduct, due to which he has also been fined 25 percent of the match fees and a demerit point. Abhishek won a brilliant innings of 59 runs with the help of 4 fours and 6 sixes in 20 balls against Lucknow.
