Captain Shubman Gill is unbeaten on 127, Yashasvi Jaiswal played a brilliant innings of 101 runs and Rishabh Pant is standing for 67 runs. Throughout the day, Indian batsmen did not let the England bowlers dominate.

He said that this innings is reminding him of the 2002 headingley test, in which he, Rahul Dravid and Sourav Ganguly had scored centuries.
Sourav Ganguly also responded to this post of Sachin. Ganguly wrote, “Hello Champ… This time I can also have 4 centuries. Pitch is good, Pant and perhaps Karun Nair can also score a century.” He also told that the 2002 pitch was slightly different from today.

2002 memorable leads test:
India defeated England by an innings and 46 runs in the Test played in Leeds in 2002. India had declared the innings at 628/8 in the first innings. Rahul Dravid (148), Sachin (193) and Ganguly (128) scored centuries. England were all out in both innings.
