Delhi: The trolls of Pakistan cricket team’s reliable wicketkeeper-batsman and captain Mohammad Rizwan have often been trolled on social media about their English. At the time of the toss or in the post-match presentation, many memes are made about their broken English and they are made a joke. But now Rizwan has spoken his side with a lot of simplicity, breaking the silence on this issue.

“My job is to play cricket, not speaking English”

Rizwan says that he does not mind these trolls, because his priority is only cricket. He said, “Pakistan has never asked for English, I have always been in demand for cricket. My focus is only on sports, not on language.”

He further said that if the country had wanted English from him, he would leave cricket and learn English first and then come back to the field.

“I am proud that I speak heartily”

Rizwan is not uncomfortable at all about his language. “I am proud that whatever I speak, I speak from the heart. My words are true. English does not come, but does not lie.”

“I regret to stay incomplete”

However, Rizwan admitted that he regretted that he could not complete his studies.
“Never found time to learn English. I regret today that I did not pay much attention to education.”

Special advice given to juniors

Rizwan has advised young players to be serious about education based on his experience. “I always tell my juniors not to ignore studies. So that they never face such criticism like me.”

Rizwan’s simplicity won heart again

Rizwan is as calm and dedicated as Rizwan on the cricket field, his simplicity and honesty also makes him special. In response to trolling on English, his confidence and honesty shows that he is a true player. Those who represent not only cricket but also humanity.
