Before the Test, former England batsman and captain Kevin Pietersen has given a shocking statement. He believes that India will be heavy on England in Lord’s Test. Peterson recently attended a special event of Yuvraj Singh’s UVCAN Foundation. During this, he shared his views about Lord’s Test in a conversation with the media.
India told the contenders of victory
45-year-old Kevin Peterson said, “I know the series is on 1-1 and Lord’s always has a great match. But, the difficulty for England is that whenever I or England has played here, the opposition teams have done better.”
He further said, “Whenever teams like Australia, India, South Africa have proved themselves in Lord’s. Every team here wants to register a name on the Honors Board. That is why the opposition teams play here even more inspired, so I think India is a favorite of this match.”
Battle of lead in third test
Both teams will put their full emphasis to gain an edge in the series at Lord’s ground. According to Peterson’s prediction, India may have a mental edge, but England will try their best to return to their home ground.
