Delhi: Gujarat Titans (GT) fast bowler Mohammad Siraj has so far taken 5 wickets in the Indian Premier League (IPL 2025) at an average of 21.40 in three matches. His best performance was seen against Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB), where he took 3 wickets for 19 runs and also gave a befitting reply to his old team.

Gujarat Titans cricket director Vikram Solanki praised Siraj fiercely saying that he has been doing well since joining the team and his coach is fantastic with Ashish Nehra.

Solanki said, “Siraj has been fantastic since joining us. He and Ashish have a great relationship between each other and both of you are seeing the result of hard work on the field.”

He further said, “The work of the coach has to be confident in the players and Ashish Nehra has done this work well. You have seen this with many players of the team and the same is happening in the matter of Siraj.”

Gujarat Titans will now play their next match against Sunrisers Hyderabad on 6 April (Sunday). Given the poor form of SRH, the Titans will have a golden opportunity to score two more marks.

However, Solanki said not to take the opposition team lightly. The former England cricketer said, “You can sometimes cheat from the previous performance. But, we know that Sunrisers are a strong team who has match winner players. We respect him.”
