Delhi: The Indian cricket team is currently busy preparing for the upcoming series against England. The players are currently playing in domestic cricket, but before this Sunil Gavaskar has given some important advice for the Indian team. He shared his views on the selection of Team India captain and practice abroad.
Need more practice on foreign tours
Gavaskar said that the Indian team needs to practice more on foreign tours. Especially on the tour of Australia, he was suggested to take 20 players with him, because it takes time for the players to adjust to the time zone. However, there is no such special issue in England. India has to tour England in June, and the weather and conditions there can be challenging for the players.
Selection of selectors is not correct
Gavaskar said in his article that players may face problems due to change in weather in England. It is difficult to adapt from the Indian heat to the cold air of England. He also said that the selection of only 16 players shows that the selectors do not have complete confidence, which is not a good sign.

India cap should not be given without experience
Gavaskar also said that BCCI has enough money and can send a big team, but it does not mean that anyone without any experience should be given the India Cap. He said that the shortage of bowlers is often felt on foreign tours, hence they should be included in the team for training, but the India cap should be given only when their performance is appropriate.
