IPL 2025: Preparations for the 2025 season of the Indian Premier League (IPL) are in full swing and all the franchises are busy finalizing the retention plans of their players before the October 31 retention deadline. “The total amount of retention is Rs 75 crore, irrespective of the amount paid to the players. If the total amount exceeds Rs 75 crore, the actual amount will be deducted. Even if the total amount is less than Rs 75 crore, there will be a deduction of Rs 75 crore.”
