Delhi: In the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025, Gujarat Titans (GT) opener B Sai Sudarshan praised captain Shubman Gill, describing him as a ‘very competitive captain’, who gives his players the best. Sudarshan credited Gill for his success and told that he shares a strong partnership.
Sai Sudarshan said during a special conversation at Geohatstar’s ‘Gen Bold’ show, “I have been watching Shubman for the last three years. If I have problems in the nets or against a bowler, I talk to him what I should do better. I have learned a lot by looking at his game and playing with him. He is a very competitive captain.”
Sai Sudarshan has performed brilliantly this season. He has scored 504 runs in 10 matches at an average of 50.40 and a strike rate of 154.12, including 5 half -centuries.
Sudarshan further said, “I think he understands what the player needs. He is the captain who gives a comfort zone to the struggling players, so that they can return firmly. We have shared many beautiful moments on the field. Hopefully we will make more memorable moments in this season.”
On the other hand, Shubman Gill has also performed strongly this season, he has scored 465 runs. Along with him, Jose Butler (470 runs) and Sudarshan have completely dominated the opposition bowlers and batted. These top-3 batsmen of GT have been the main reason for their team’s success.
