Gill-Sadarshan’s partnership triumphed in Gujarat, Rahul’s century in vain.

The 60th match of IPL 2025 was played between Delhi Capitals and Gujarat Titans at Arun Jaitley Stadium on 18 May. Batting first, the Delhi team scored 199 runs losing 3 wickets on the basis of KL Rahul’s century. In response, the Gujarat team won by 10 wickets by chasing a target of 200 runs without losing any wickets in 19 overs. After this victory, Gujarat has reached the playoffs of Titans. Also, Royal Challengers Bangalore and Punjab Kings have also confirmed the place.

KL Rahul hit the fifth century of IPL career

Batting against the Gujarat Titans, Delhi Capitals scored 16 in the fourth over when Faf du Plessis was dismissed against Arshad Khan after scoring five runs. After this, KL Rahul and Abhishek Porel jointly shared a 90 -run partnership for the second wicket.

Abhishek Porel (30), captain Akshar Patel (25) and Triston Stabs (21*) made valuable contribution. But due to KL Rahul’s unbeaten 112 runs of 14 fours and 4 sixes in 65 balls, the team hit 199 runs on the board. Arshad Khan, famous Krishna and Sai Kishore took 1-1 wickets for Gujarat Titans.

Great partnership between Gill and Sai Sudarshan

Shubman Gill and Sai Sudarshan have a brilliant partnership of 205 runs. The Gujarat Titans has become the first team of IPL history to lose a wicket without chasing 200+ Total. Sai Sudarshan scored a second century of IPL career and played a brilliant innings of 108* with the help of 12 fours and 4 sixes in 61 balls. At the same time, captain Shubman Gill scored an unbeaten 93* in 53 balls with the help of 3 fours and 7 sixes.
