Excellent batting by Rishabh Pant
Rishabh Pant once again batted brilliantly for the Indian team in the second innings. He played a quick inning of 61 runs, completing his half-century in just 29 balls. This was Pant’s second fastest half-century in Test cricket. Earlier, Pant had scored a half-century against Sri Lanka in only 28 balls.
Sachin Tendulkar praised
Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar was also very happy after seeing Rishabh Pant’s stormy batting and praised Pant on social media. Sachin wrote on X, “On a wicket where other batsmen were playing at a strike rate of 50, Pant scored runs at a strike rate of 184. It was wonderful. Pant had already started troubling Australia. It is always fun to watch Pant bat.”

Pant’s first innings was also excellent
Rishabh Pant had shown a good game in the first innings also. He scored the highest score for the Indian team by scoring 40 runs. However, in the first innings he was out due to a careless shot.
