Delhi: Indian team star all -rounder Hardik Pandya scored a brilliant half -century in the fourth T20 match against England on Friday. In a difficult situation on the Pune ground, he entertained the cricket fans tremendously. Hardik scored 53 runs in 30 balls, including four fours and four sixes. India had lost five wickets for 79 runs, after which Hardik and Shivam Dubey (53 runs, 34 balls) made India a strong position by making an important partnership of 87 runs for the sixth wicket. Team India scored a score of 181/9 and won by 15 runs to take an unbeatable lead of 3–1 in the 5-match series.
After the match, Hardik spoke openly on his deep connection with cricket. The 31 -year -old all -rounder described cricket as his first love and said that this is an important part of his life. The BCCI shared his video on social media on Saturday, in which Hardik was seen expressing his love for cricket. He said, “I always come down on the field thinking that the audience’s money should be collected completely.”
Hardik further said, “When fans come to the stadium and raise slogans, I get additional motivation. I always want to perform well for him. Cricket is my life, my priority and this has been my first love. “
Significantly, Hardik Pandya is the fourth batsman to score the most runs in the current T20 series. He has scored 103 runs in four innings so far, where he has been unbeaten once. The last match of the series will be played in Mumbai on Sunday.
