Delhi: Pakistan’s experienced fast bowler Hasan Ali Has accused the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) of discriminating against the players. 30 -year -old Hasan Ali said that injured opener Sam Ayub is getting VVIP treatment, while other players are biased. Hasan criticized the PCB by giving an example of his situation. Hasan was part of the Pakistan team that won the Champions Trophy in 2017.
Hasan Ali’s charge
22 -year -old Sam Job, who was not playing in the 2025 ICC Champions Trophy due to ankle injury, was injured during the tour of South Africa. He is out of the game for 10 weeks and is currently doing his rehabilitation in England. Job made his debut in international cricket in March 2023 and has played 8 Tests, 9 ODIs and 27 T20 International matches so far. His absence has weakened Pakistan’s top order and the team was forced to open with Babar Azam with Fakhar Zaman.
Criticism of PCB
Hasan Ali is angry with the special behavior being done by PCB with Ayub. He said that when he was injured in 2020, the board did not treat him like Job. Hasan said on the ultra age podcast, “Sam Job is injured, he is part of the team. Was I not part of the team in 2020? When a player is injured, is it not a part of the team? ” Hasan accused the PCB that he is only giving VVIP treatment to Job, and no other injured player will get such respect in future.
Hasan Ali has played 24 Tests, 66 ODIs and 51 T20 international matches for Pakistan, but he has been out of the team for the last several months. His last international match was in May 2024.
