Delhi: Indian ODI team captain and veteran batsman of Mumbai Indians (Mi) Rohit Sharma recently gave a befitting reply to critics, saying that it is not right to criticize the players. He clarified that he accepts criticism, but unnecessary comments do not matter to him.
In an interview to the famous journalist Vimal Kumar, Rohit said, “Criticism is part of a player’s life. It is also necessary. But, I am against non-essential criticism. I don’t like it. I don’t like it.
Rohit also said that he answers the questions raised on his batting against the left -arm fast bowlers with an aggressive game. He said, “People say that I cannot play the left -handed fast bowlers, but I no longer pay attention to these things. Time is wasted in rescue and time is very valuable. My job is to play aggressively.”
Although his performance in the last few season of IPL was not as impressive, Rohit has made a brilliant comeback with the bat in the recent 5-6 matches of the 2025 season. Despite this, some critics still question their batting.
It is clear from Rohit’s statements that he is full of confidence and will continue to answer critics with his bat on the field.
