Delhi: ICC Champions Trophy is going to be organized in Pakistan in February this year. Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is fully engaged in its preparation. Meanwhile, important information related to Team India’s announcement and tournament has come to light.
When will Team India be announced?
This tournament will start from 19th February. According to reports, all the countries have been given time till January 12 to announce their respective teams. BCCI can announce the Indian team on January 11. There is a possibility that Rohit Sharma will captain the team.
When will India-Pakistan clash?
The schedule of ICC Champions Trophy has been released. This time eight teams are participating. Team India will play all its matches in Dubai. India has been placed in Group A along with Pakistan, New Zealand and Bangladesh. The Indian team will play its first match against Bangladesh on 20 February. After this, there will be a great match between India and Pakistan in Dubai on 23rd February. India will have three matches in the group stage.
The semi-final matches will be played on 4 and 5 March. The final match will be held on March 9. If the final is between India or other countries, then it will be held in Dubai only. But, if India does not reach the final, then the final will be played in Lahore.
