Delhi: Champions Trophy 2025 will start from 19 February 2025. This tournament will be organized under hybrid model in Pakistan and Dubai. The Indian team will play its first match against Bangladesh on 20 February.
BCCI refused to publish the name
Before this tournament, a new controversy has come to light, in which BCCI has decided not to print the name of Pakistan on the jersey of the Indian team. While Pakistan’s name should be on the jerseys of all the teams in organizing this tournament, BCCI has opposed it. Now ICC’s statement has come out on this issue.
It is important to follow the rules
ICC clarified that it is a rule that all teams will have to wear the tournament logo on their jerseys. All teams are required to follow this rule. The ICC also warned that if the Indian team violates this rule, strict action will be taken against them.
